What is Ninjaflex?
Ninjaflex filament is a TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) based material that offers flexibility, elasticity and high strength properties. This rubbery material is great for projects that need to be both flexible and durable. It’s ideal for making bumpers for protecting your devices. It’s also great for making certain cosplay props such has horns, spikes and other wearables. If you’re looking for a more “useful” approach, it can also be used for making seals, gaskets, plugs, and leveling feet.
Amortech’s Thoughts:
This filament isn’t offered by a large amount of print hubs as its a rather harder filament to work with and there are many standard printers that struggle to print it due to its elasticity and required extruder specs. It took us some time to perfect the settings but once we dialed it in the materiel prints beautifully. We now stock over a dozen colors and do some various in-house prints on useable parts but sadly we don’t see too many orders as many people are unaware of it’s useful properties.
